2014 will be the sixth annual Special Olympics NC Torch Run 5k. Proceeds from this event benefit Special Olympics NC and the more than 38,000 individuals with intellectual disabilities that participate in the year-round sports programming offered at no cost. This event is hosted by the NC State Police Department and is a major part of the department’s fundraising effort to benefit the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics each year.
